Chocolate Raspberry Nut Bars

- 3 sticks margarine, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 12 oz. raspberry jam
- 12 oz. chocolate bits
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream together margarine and sugar.

2Beat in eggs, vanilla and salt.

3Beat in flour a little at a time.

4Spread batter on an oiled jelly roll tin.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Take from oven and lightly spread with raspberry jam.

7Top with chocolate bits.

8Put back in oven for a few minutes so you can spread the chocolate. Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts.

9Press in gently; let it cool thoroughly. Cut gently into 70 pieces with pizza cutter.
