- 1 12 cups self-rising flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 23 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup skim milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 12 cup caster sugar
- 315 ml boiling water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180C Sift flour and cocoa into a large bowl.

2Stir in sugar and make a well in the centre.

3Whisk egg, butter, and milk in a jug and pour into well.

4Stir gently until just combined (don't beat vigorously or the pudding won't be light).

5Spread mixture into a 2L capacity ovenproof dish.

6To make sauce, place boiling water in a glass jug.

7Add cocoa and sugar.

8Stir until dissolved.

9Pour evenly over pudding mix.

10Bake for 40 minutes.

11Microwave method:.

12Microwave on high for 10 minutes.

13Test cake, If necessary, microwave a further 2 minutes.
