  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix first 2 ingredients.

    Heat oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa in pan and let come to a boil.

    Pour over first mixture and mix. Beat together buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, soda and salt.

    Add to mixture and mix well.

    Pour into ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
