  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook in saucepan the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water; bring to boil.

    Remove from heat.

    Add the flour and sugar to this mixture. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

    Bake in a greased and floured baking sheet (12 x 18 x 1-inch) for 20 minutes at 350°.

    Ice the cake while still warm.
