  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring oil, oleo, water and cocoa to a boil.

    Mix sugar, flour and salt together.

    Pour in cocoa mixture.

    Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla; mix well.

    Pour into 9 x 12-inch well-greased and floured pan.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Frost with chocolate icing.
