  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Sift together in a large bowl the sugar and flour.

    Mix in saucepan the oleo, shortening, cocoa and water and bring to a rapid boil.

    Pour over dry ingredients. Stir well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Pour in a 16 x 11-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 400°.
