  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift flour with sugar and cocoa.

    Combine margarine, water and oil in saucepan; bring to a boil and pour over flour mixture. Combine buttermilk in which soda has been dissolved with eggs and vanilla.

    Add to mixture; beat well.

    Pour into 11 x 16-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
