  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift together sugar, flour and cinnamon.

    In saucepan, put oil, water, butter and cocoa and bring to a boil.

    Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.

    Mix together eggs, vanilla and buttermilk and add to batter.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased sheet pan and bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
