  • 1 prepared (9-inch) butter flavored pie crust
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. softened vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tsp. whipped topping for garnish
  • 1 small chocolate bar, crushed for garnish
  • 1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant chocolate pudding and pie filling

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Place pie crust on a cookie sheet.

    In small bowl, beat together water and egg white.

    Brush on the pie crust and bake for about 5 minutes or until light golden.

    Cool thoroughly.

    Meanwhile, in a large bowl, place the pudding, nutmeg, cinnamon, milk and softened ice cream; mix for about 1 minute in an electric mixer until mixture is smooth.

    Pour mixture into cooled pie crust and freeze a few hours until firm.

    Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before serving.

    Garnish with whipped topping and crushed chocolate.

    Store leftover pie in freezer.
