  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 1/4 c. soft margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Sift first 5 ingredients. Cream oleo. Add sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Roll dough into balls and roll in sugar. Put on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
