- 10 tablespoons softened butter
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3 large eggs room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 5 tablespoons powdered chocolate for milk chocolate
- milk as needed
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

2Line wells of muffin tin with paper liners.

3Beat butter with sugar until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.

4Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition, until they are completely blended.

5Add flour, salt and baking powder and stir just until batter is smooth.

6Use a spoon to fill each cupcake mold 3/4 full.

7In a separate bowl, mix chocolate powder with a little milk to create a chocolate paste.

8Top each cupcake with 1 teaspoon chocolate paste and stir in a decorative swirl with a toothpick.

9Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes
