- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Directions

1In heavy 2-quart saucepan, stir together sugar, corn syrup, water and salt.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.

3Cook without stirring until temperature on candy thermometer reaches 250° or until small amount of mixture dropped into very cold water forms a ball which is hard enough to hold its shape, yet elastic.

4Remove from heat.
