- 1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate pudding mix
- 1/2 c. strong coffee
- 1 large carton Cool Whip, thawed
- 4 (1.4 oz.) Heath candy bars, crushed
Directions

1Bake cake according to package directions.

2Cool.

3Prepare pudding according to package directions and set aside.

4Crumble cake; reserving 1/2 cup.

5Place half of the remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of 4 1/2 or 5-quart trifle dish or decorative glass bowl.

6Layer with half of the coffee, half of the pudding, half of the Cool Whip and half of the candy bars.

7Repeat the layers of cake, coffee, pudding and Cool Whip.

8Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cake crumbs; sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours before serving. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
