Chocolate Turtle Pie

- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. prepared caramel sauce
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Spray a 9 to 10-inch pie pan with vegetable oil.

3In bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade, combine flour, sugar and butter.

4Pulse until mixture comes together in a ball.

5Press into pie pan.

6Prick a few times with a fork and place in oven for 5 minutes.

7Sprinkle pecans onto partially cooked pie shell and pour caramel sauce over.

8Return to oven and bake another 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is browned and filling is bubbling.

9Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips.

10When chips are melted, spread to form a topping. Chill, slice and serve.
