  • 6 ounces, weight White Rasins
  • 1-3/4 ounce, weight Sunflower Seeds (shelled)
  • 3-1/2 ounces, weight Oats
  • 1 ounce, weight Flaxseed
  • 1 ounce, weight Cocoa Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Orange, Zest Only
  • 7 ounces, weight Softened Coconut Oil
  • 3 Tablespoons Unrefined Cane Sugar
  • 1-3/4 ounce, weight Hazelnuts, Roughly Chopped
  • 1-3/4 ounce, weight Dry Cranberries

    Soak raisins in some hot water and set aside for 2 hours to soften the raisins. Meanwhile, in a nonstick pan, toast sunflower seeds.

    Drain soaked raisins. In a blender, add raisins, oats, flaxseed, toasted sunflower seeds, cocoa powder, salt, cinnamon, orange zest, coconut oil, and sugar. Blend until it forms a sticky dough, adding 1 or 2 teaspoons of water if needed. Finally, add chopped hazelnuts and cranberries and mix with hands.

    On plastic wrap, spread dough to a square about 0.4-0.6 in (1 to 1,5 cm) thick. Wrap completely in plastic wrap for 2 to 3 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
