  • 1 1/2 c. finely crushed chocolate wafers
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar (1/4 with cream cheese, 1/4 with egg whites)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits, melted in double boiler
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans

    Combine crumbs and butter.

    Press into bottom of 9 or 9 1/2-inch spring-form pan.
