  • 1 egg
  • 2 (1 oz.) sq. bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. plus 2 tsp. butter/margarine
  • chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. strong brewed coffee
  • 1 egg
  • 8 walnut halves

    Combine egg and enough cold water to make 1/2 cup total volume. Whisk knife blade in food processor.

    Add flour and 1 square of chocolate.

    Blend well and add 1/2 cup margarine.

    Pulse 5 or 6 times.

    With machine running, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of egg mix until dough ball forms.

    Chill dough for 30 minutes.

    Press out into tart pan (an 11-inch one).
