  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. cooking oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda (baking)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 4 c. chopped tart apples
  • 1/2 c. nuts

    Cream together sugar and eggs.

    Add 1 cup cooking oil and mix well, then add flour and seasonings until smooth.

    Fold in tart apples and nuts.

    Blend well.

    Beat oven to 375°.

    Pour cake mix into a tube pan and bake for approximately 45 minutes.

    Cover with a light icing of confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla flavor.
