- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Season with salt and pepper.

4Cover skillet; simmer until tender.

5Drain off excess fat.

6Add 1 1/2 to 3 cups water.

7Meanwhile, make dumplings.

8Stir milk and flour, only until blended.

9Drop by spoonfuls onto hot meat (not in the liquid).

10Cook 10 minutes uncovered, then cover tightly and cook 10 minutes longer.

11Thicken liquid with flour for gravy.
