- 1 c. rice
- 1 - 3 lb. chicken
- butter or margarine, melted
- 2 soup cans water
- 1 1 1/2 oz. envelope onion soup mix
- 1 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Wash, dry, and cut chicken into serving-size pieces.

2Set aside.

3Combine remaining ingredients in a shallow baking dish, mix well.

4Arrange chicken over rice mixture.

5Brush chicken with melted butter or margarine.

6Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 425° for 30 minutes.

7Remove foil and bake for 30 minutes longer, or until chicken and rice are tender.
