  • 225 g puff pastry, defrosted
  • 115 g/ 4oz chorizo sausage
  • 1 egg

    preheat oven to 230C.

    Slice chorizo 5mm ( 1/4 inch thick).

    Roll out the pastry on a floured surface 3mm ( 1/8 inch ) thick.

    Stamp out rounds so that they are slightly larger than the chorizo.

    Enclose a chorizo slice between 2 pastry rounds brushed with egg, then seal with the edges with a fork .

    Chill until ready to bake.

    Arrange on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake 7 minutes until puffed and golden.
