Ingredients

  • 4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 10 green tomatoes
  • 15 hot red peppers
  • 10 sweet green peppers
  • 4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    Use a food processor to grind vegetables.

    Sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight.

    Rinse and drain vegetables the next morning.

    Put vegetables, sugar and spices in a big pot and bring to a boil.

    Simmer for 3 minutes.

    Seal in hot, clean jars.
