- 1 qt. green tomatoes
- 2 sweet green peppers
- 2 sweet red peppers
- 2 large onions
- 1 small head cabbage
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3 c. vinegar
- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 2 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Grind all vegetables.

2Add salt.

3Grind and let stand overnight.

4Next morning, drain all liquid off.

5Add all other ingredients and bring to boil.

6Reduce to simmer and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

7Put in jars and store in dark place for 3 weeks before using.
