- 1 qt. cabbage, chopped
- 1 qt. green tomatoes, chopped
- 1 qt. onions, chopped
- hot peppers, chopped (hot as you want)
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Mix vegetables and 1/2 cup salt.

2Let stand overnight.

3Next day drain.

4Heat vinegar, sugar and spices and simmer 10 minutes. Add to vegetables.

5Cook approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

6Chow will change to a dull green color.

7Pack and seal.
