- 1 gal. chopped cabbage
- 12 onions
- 12 green peppers
- 12 red peppers
- 2 qt. chopped green tomatoes
- 5 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
- 4 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 3 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. whole mixed spices
- 1 gal. cider vinegar
Directions

1Chop onions and peppers.

2Mix all vegetables with 1/2 cup salt.

3Let stand overnight; drain.

4Tie mixed spices in a bag. Add sugar and other spices to vinegar.

5Simmer 20 minutes.

6Add other ingredients until hot and well seasoned.

7Remove spice bag. Hot pack into hot jars and seal.
