- 4 qt. cabbage
- 1 qt. onions
- 1 dozen green tomatoes
- 1 dozen bell peppers
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 Tbsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 3 cups sugar
Directions

1Cut vegetables and mix together. Mix all the seasoning and add enough vinegar to make a smooth paste. Bring rest of vinegar to a boil and add the paste mixture to it. Cook slowly until it thickens. Add vegetables and cook until thoroughly heated. Boil for a few minutes. Add a few red peppers for color, and hot pepper to taste. Seal in pint jars.
