Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. chicken
- 1/2 lb. lean diced pork
- 1/2 lb. lean diced beef
- 2 large onions, sliced
- celery, sliced diagonally (equal to amount of onions)
- 1 can bean sprouts, drained
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 can bamboo shoots, drained
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. bead molasses (brown gravy sauce)
- 1 medium-sized pod bell pepper
- 1 can chow mein noodles
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Put beef, pork and whole pieces of chicken in small amount of water.

2When tender, remove chicken from bones; skin and dice. Combine diced chicken with beef and pork.

3Bring to boil, then add onions, celery and pepper.

4Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

5Then add bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts; cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

6Combine cornstarch and soy sauce; mix well.

7Then add beaded molasses to mixture.

8Put this mixture in chow mein and stir constantly until thickens.

9Serve hot over noodles.
