- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 (No. 2) can bean sprouts
Directions

1Brown chicken in melted fat.

2Add all ingredients except soy sauce and bean sprouts.

3Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.

4Add soy sauce and bean sprouts and heat thoroughly.

5Thicken with 4 tablespoons of cornstarch, mixed in 1/2 cup cold water.

6Stir this into hot mixture until smooth and thickened.

7Serve over noodles.
