- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 (8 oz.) box elbow macaroni
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 c. milk
Directions

1Brown beef and onion together in a large frying pan.

2Drain off any fat.

3Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste and thyme.

4Add 1 teaspoon salt, if desired.

5Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
