  • 1 lb. ground lean fresh pork
  • 2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. mushroom liquid
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts or mixed vegetables, drained
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drain and reserve liquid

Directions

    Preheat skillet, uncovered, at 325°.

    Add ground pork, celery and onions, stir gently and fry until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove excess grease.

    Add salt, brown sugar, pepper and reserved mushroom liquid.

    Stir to combine.

    Cover with vent closed, reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
