- 1 lb. meat (beef, pork, chicken or shrimp)
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 2 medium stalks celery, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 large can Chinese vegetables (reserve 1/4 cup liquid)
Directions

1Fry meat until brown.

2Stir in bouillon, celery, onion, soy sauce and monosodium glutamate.

3Heat to boiling.

4Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.

5Shake reserved liquid and cornstarch in covered container.

6Stir gradually into meat.

7When thick, add vegetables and heat thoroughly.

8Serve over rice and chow mein noodles.
