  • 3/4 c. raisins
  • 3 oz. candied citron
  • 3 oz. candied orange peel
  • 1 1/2 oz. candied lemon peel
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. each salt, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. molasses
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Mix fruit together with flour, soda, spices and salt.

    Cream butter; add sugar, molasses and beaten eggs.

    Stir in fruit.

    Use loaf pan.

    Bake in 275° oven 2 1/2 hours.
