- 1 (32 oz.) jar whole sour pickles
- 2 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Directions

1Drain juice from pickles; slice or cut into chunks.

2Rinse original jar and dry.

3Layer sugar, pickles, garlic and Tabasco in jar.

4Cap and let jar sit until sugar dissolves, about 15 minutes. Turn a couple of times to help sugar liquefy.

5Refrigerate for 3 days before serving.

6Makes 1 quart of Christmas green-colored pickles.
