Ingredients
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Heat cream over low heat until bubbles (stir constantly); form on edge of pan.

3Beat yolks and sugar together until thick and yellow (3 minutes).

4Beating constantly, pour cream in steady steam into egg yolks; add vanilla.

5Pour into custard cups.

6Place cups into baking pan with 1/2 to 1-inch boiling water lining bottom of pan.

7Bake 45 minutes.

8Remove cups; cool.

9Refrigerate 2 hours.

10Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place under broiler (close) and cook until sugar turns golden brown.

11Refrigerate before serving.
