- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan; bring to boiling point.

2Reduce heat; cook to hard-ball stage (252°).

3Beat egg whites until fluffy.

4Add dry gelatin gradually, beating until stiff peaks form.

5Pour syrup slowly into egg white mixture, beating constantly until candy holds shape.

6Stir in nuts; pour quickly into 9-inch buttered pan.

7Let stand until firm.

8Dip knife into hot water and cut as desired.
