  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. light syrup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pkg. flavored gelatin
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. grated coconut

Directions

    Butter 9-inch square pan.

    Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan.

    Cook to boiling point, stirring constantly.

    Then reduce heat and continue cooking to hard ball stage or 250° on candy thermometer.
