- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 heaping Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb. dates, cut to very small bits
- 1 lb. figs, cut to very small bits
- 1 lb. raisins, cut to very small bits
- 1 lb. coconut
- 1 to 2 c. nuts, cut to very small bits
Directions

1Cook sugar, cream and butter to soft ball stage.

2Beat until creamy.

3Beat in fruit and nuts.

4If coconut is coarse, grind it. When well mixed, roll as for meat loaf.

5Wrap in dampened cloth, then in waxed paper and store to ripen.

6Allow at least 2 weeks before using.

7Slice into squares or grease hands and roll into balls.

8Roll in nuts or coconut.
