Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. fine noodles
  • 2 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 lb. grated cheese
  • 1 can Chinese noodles

Directions

    Cook and drain noodles.

    Brown chuck and onions in pan. Combine mushrooms, soup, milk and sauces.

    Add to meat, add chestnuts and mix.

    Butter 3-quart casserole dish.

    Spread noodles and cover with meat mixture.

    Top with cheese.

    Cook at 350° until cheese bubbles.

    Remove from oven and top with Chinese noodles. Return to oven for 10 minutes.
