- 5 or 6 lb. chuck roast
- 3 large onions, diced
- 14 oz. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 stalk diced celery
- 1 diced green pepper
- 3 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Place roast in a glass baking dish.

2Mix ingredients and pour over chuck roast.

3Cook for 5 hours, covered, at 325°.

4When done, break meat apart with fork.

5Serve on fresh hard rolls.
