  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. red wine
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • vegetables: potatoes, onion, carrots, etc.

Directions

    Shake flour in bag, add sauce, wine, water, bouillon, salt and pepper in bag.

    Add roast, mushrooms and vegetables.

    Turn several times to coat.

    Tie bag.

    Make 6 (1/2-inch) slits in top.

    Bake at 325° for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
