  • 1 1/2 lb. chuck steak (1-inch thick)
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp. steak sauce
  • 3 medium carrots, quartered
  • 2 stalks celery, cut in pieces
  • 3 medium potatoes, halved
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Place the steak in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil and sprinkle with the soup mix and steak sauce.

    Cover the steak with the vegetables and dot with oleo.

    Sprinkle with salt. Fold foil over steak mixture and seal securely.

    Place in a baking pan and bake at 400° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
