Name: "Chunky Bar" Cookies
Ingredients: 1 (18 ounce) box devil's food cake mix; 2 large eggs; 1/4 cup margarine (stick not tub); 1/4 cup butter, at room temperature; 1/4 cup packed brown sugar; 1/2 cup chocolate chips; 1/2 cup dried dates, chopped; 1/2 cup raisins; 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

1 (18 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
2 large eggs
1/4 cup margarine (stick not tub)
1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup dried dates, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined: dry cake mix, eggs, margarine, butter and brown sugar.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop from level tablespoons onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350F 11 minutes or until cookies puff.

Cool on pan 2 minutes.

Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
