- 12 c. popped corn
- 3 c. salted peanuts
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Place popcorn and peanuts in a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan (or large, deep baking dish).

2In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.

3Bring to a boil over medium heat.

4Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla.

6Mix thoroughly and pour over popcorn/peanut mixture, mixing well.

7Bake at 250° for 35 minutes (stir after baking 15 minutes and again after baking 30 minutes).

8Remove from pan immediately; cool completely on sheet of foil.

9Store in airtight container.
