Chunky Chocolate-Jam Bars

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
  • 1 cup cold non-hydrogenated margarine
  • 1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 5 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 jar (250 mL) Kraft Pure Raspberry Jam

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.

    Spray with cooking spray.

    Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl.

    Cut in margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    Add oats, coconut and nuts; mix well.

    Press half the crumb mixture into bottom of prepared pan; sprinkle with chocolate.

    Spoon jam over top; cover with remaining crumb mixture.

    Bake 25 to 30 min.

    Use foil handles to lift dessert from pan; place on wire rack.
