- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 c. diced green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. water
- mashed potatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook potatoes and mash enough for 4 servings.

2Form hamburger into 4 patties.

3Brown.

4Add tomatoes, 1 cup water, celery and green pepper.

5Cook about 1/2 hour.

6Make paste with flour and 1/4 cup water.

7Remove patties and some of vegetables from tomato sauce.

8Keep warm.

9Add flour and water paste to sauce to thicken. Salt and pepper to taste.

10Serve patties with mashed potatoes and gravy.
