- 4 quarts apples (washed,cored, pared and cut)
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 quarts apple cider
Directions

1Bring cider to a boil in a large stockpot and continue boiling for 20 minutes.

2Add apples and sugar.

3Reduce heat and cook very slowly about 2 1/2 hours.

4This can be sealed in sterilized jars, if desired.
