- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 qt. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can whole stewed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cayenne
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 servings hot cooked spaghetti
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- oyster crackers
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 can kidney beans, heated
Directions

1Combine ground beef, onions and water in saucepan. Simmer until beef turns brown. Add tomatoes, vinegar and seasonings. Cover, simmer 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Fat will float. If time, chill chili and lift off fat layer; if not, spoon off fat.
