Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 2 (4.5 oz.) cans green chiles, diced or whole, peeled
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 pkg. (2 c.) natural shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onion.

    Drain grease.

    Set aside. Spread chiles on bottom of dish, approximately 10 x 10-inch. Cover with ground beef and onion mixture.

    Sprinkle cheese over chile and hamburger mixture.
