- 1 pkg. red hot candies (approximately 9 oz.)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 10 apple halves, pared
- red food coloring
Directions

1Melt the red hot candies and the sugar in the water.

2Bring to boil and add the apples.

3Add drops of red food coloring to make bright red.

4Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes or until apples are tender.

5Refrigerate and serve cold.
