- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- flour
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. milk
- soft butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Stir together the baking powder and salt.

2Cut shortening into flour with a pastry blender, then stir in milk with a fork.

3Knead by folding, pressing and turning about 10 times on a lightly floured board.

4Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

5Spread with soft butter; sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

6Roll dough along long side.

7Pinch long edge to seal.

8Cut into 1-inch slices and place, cut side down, in greased muffin pan.

9Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
